Best laid plans…

Yesterday, I wrote a blog post here explaining why we had some issues with the weigh in. Fortunately, later that night, we found a way to get most of that Day One weigh-in up. At the end of the blog, I promised we would try better today. Little did I know that I'd be writing another one of these so soon…

We sorted out our satellite issues and with 15 minutes before the weigh in was set to begin, it appeared that we were good to go. We fired up power to the stage and backstage livewells- and. instantly lost power to the equipment that brings you the weigh in.

Another day, another problem. What got us today? The convection oven that is the shore of Falcon Lake put our generator into overdrive. We've taken that thing all over the hottest places in the south, but Falcon Lake is the one that got it.

So I end another one of these saying that we're going to try to do better tomorrow. Plans are being made, contingencies discussed. Falcon Lake is being real nice to our anglers like leader Keith Combs- maybe it will cut us a break tomorrow.
