And there's Mr. Paul Elias, who was in second place heading into today's action. He's in the same place we saw him yesterday, and he brought 18 pounds, 4 ounces to the table.
Here he goes again. Something nice is on his line! Oh boy...it's a giant catfish.
"Oh Lord, you've been rough on me today," he says. The wily pro gets back to work quickly, however. He reports he has four small fish that go about 7 pounds right now.
"The current has changed the way these fish are biting," he said. That seems to be the case with a lot of the anglers we've talked with today. The water is really moving quickly through here and remains high. We'll have to find out more details later as we're heading down the river again.
