Mike Iaconelli, John Crews and Terry Scroggins have just joined Brent Chapman in Shaw Lake, which has cleared considerably since we came in here early this morning, particularly on the north end.
Scroggins just caught a fish on a crankbait that allowed him to cull up a little bit.
Chapman is fishing an area along a northeast bank that is protected from the wind, not far from where he was when we saw him this morning, so we're assuming he's been here all day. If BassTrack is correct, and Chapman only has one fish, he has obviously made a do-or-die decision.
It is a serious commitment to get back into this place, so we are assuming these four anglers will finish Day One of the Classic right here.
