Roumbanis and Howell are still working along the dam, and Howell has a limit and culled once. He says he's got about 12 pounds. Roumbanis only has one, but said as soon as he gets a limit he's gone. Howell has other plans, though. "This is the only place I've had a lot of bites, but there ought to be a big one here." Howell went on to say he considers the 2 /34-pounder he's got as big. He's dropped his Power-Poles and is working the culvert with a crankbait, jig, and a jerkbait. Roumbanis is throwing a swimbait, probably an Optimum Double Diamond.
Upshaw boated another keeper, much to he delight of the crowd along the dam, many of who are walking along the bank as he moves back toward the mouth of McDade.
