Kennedy and DeFoe on a lucky streak

Just when it seemed like McDade was grinding to a halt, Steve Kennedy whacked a 2-pounder and Ott boated a 2- and a 3-pounder. Anglers are having to slow down considerably to get bit. DeFoe just  caught another small keeper. My boat driver Beaux Yerger is deeply familiar with McDade and reckons that the sun shining on the bank DeFoe is fishing may not be divine intervention, but rather is causing the fish to move up onto it. DeFoe is slowly working a small jerkbait since his small crankbait hasn't panned out today.
