You would guess that back-to-back tournaments might be tough on the Top 12 competing on Sunday in Arkansas while the rest of the field has made the drive to Alabama, as has occurred in the last week.
There is proof of that in the two-day standings from Wheeler Lake. The following is the Top 12 finishers at Bull Shoals/Norfork last Sunday and how they’ve fared at Wheeler Lake. Only four of those anglers are still fishing – Chris Zaldain, Matt Herren, Steve Kennedy and Brandon Palaniuk. Based on the Day 2 standings at Wheeler, the average place of last week’s Top 12 is 59th.
