TVA’s plan for the day

TVA’s plan for the day is never a sure bet, but here’s what we have to go on with the generating schedule. Here’s the latest schedule for Wheeler Lake.

Note there are “2 or more” generators scheduled to run and that’s obvious when the cubic feet per second doubles from 9,994 to 18,746 cfs as this is written.

Meanwhile the opposite is planned for Lake Guntersville. The plan is for one generator to run and the cfs dropped by half, from 12,865 to 6,062.

What that means for these current-driven bits on the main river (Crews, Takahiro Omori) is yet to come. The schedule is about the same from yesterday.

Beyond the math it comes down to grinding it out no matter the conditions. Crews just boated his third keeper, a largemouth weighing about 1 1/2 pounds. That gives him three keepers.
