Tacoronte has added his fourth keeper. It gives him about 9 pounds total.
He put the last one in the well and said “I’ve got to get out of here. These fish just aren’t cooperating.”
It took him another 20 minutes to actually leave. But he does have four, which is somewhat better than the rest of the boats around. Most of them include shiner fishermen, who are pulling up to one of the many white “shiner” poles scattered around.
We’ve seen them catch a small fish or two. But nothing like what was here yesterday.
Tacoronte finally gave in. He said he’s moving on down to the lower end where the fish seemed to be moving in yesterday afternoon. It’s our understanding that he has extensive knowledge of this lake so he might still have a magic spot up his sleeve.
