I called Tournament Director Trip Weldon to see what he’s up to. He and Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery are about to go out and assess the fog and see if it looks like it’s clearing any time soon. He did not sound hopeful, and mentioned 9 a.m. as a possible time when the Elites could begin the tournament. The picture above is what he sees, and he says, “Looking towards far side of Norfork which obviously is not visible due to dense fog. Tick tick tick.”
