We are nearly two hours into the day and Okeechobee is not giving up any of it’s legendary big bass in great numbers
A brief flurry happened from 8-8:30 a.m. That’s when a trio of 6 pounders, an 8 pounder and a pair of 5 pounders got caught, according to the BASSTrakk Twitter feed. Timmy Horton caught the biggest bass of the half hour and one of the 6-pounders. Before then, another 8 pounder was caught by Skylar Hamilton.
What’s un-Okeechobee and clearly visible in the Twitter feed are the number of skinny, 1-pound bass getting caught.
Who is giong to wake up this lake? We shall see as the day moves on.
