What’s really cool about all this is the conditions are set up just about identical to last year when he won this event. I compared my last year’s field notes with Chad based on his comments back then. In talking with him this morning the water temperature is about the same at 62 degrees. Weather? Exactly the same. Heavy rain on Day 1 gave way to gradually warming temperatures.
That started a final push of pre-spawners into shallower water. Hmm … seems to be a pattern going here.
