Lively leaderboard

BASSTrakk is a barometer of sorts for watching fish catching trends. True to the point is what happened over the last hour, from 11 a.m. through noon, and specifically in that last half hour.

With nearly every automatic refresh a name or two moved up or down the leaderboard. Four anglers made big jumps in that hour of fishing. Those were Greg Hackney, Jason Williamson, Cliff Prince and Jason Christie. Each of those anglers caught bass weighing at least 6 pounds.

Another brief spurt came at 10 a.m. when Chad Pipkens filled out his limit weighing 19 pounds, 4 ounces.

The main thought to keep in mind is the timing and accuracy of BASSTrakk. Cell service is spotty, and some Marshals are unable to update the catches of their anglers until reaching an area with coverage.
