Klein’s bite much slower today

By 7:30 a.m. on Thursday and Friday Gary Klein had a limit of big bass. His bite came early both days. Today he’s fishing the same spots, but the results are less spectacular. Two keepers for south of 4 pounds. The cloud cover is making it much darker today (yesterday dawned sunny) and last night’s rain cooled the water temperature down three degrees to 68.7. There’s much less shad activity today. When Klein trolled by us he attributed the slower bite to the cooler water. We’re thinking the fish catching will pick up along with the temperature.
