Randy Howell dropped the PowerPoles and is working a spot thoroughly with a shallow running crankbait. He’s trying to intercept the bass roaming this flat.
“The shad aren’t here like they were yesterday,” he told us. “The current has the shad moved off and that’s why they aren’t feeding.”
“We didn’t have this water yesterday,” he continued. “The bass are still here so it’s a wait and see kind of thing.”
“Every once in a while they show themselves to there’s no reason for me to leave yet.”
