As has been noted, Cayuga Lake has set a new standard for a Top 50 two-day cut weight on the Elite Series this season. It took 33-3 to make the 50 cut yesterday, topping the 28-12 at the St. Johns River and 28-9 at Toledo Bend.
But what about the Top 12 cut mark? Cayuga’s going to have to show off today in order to beat the 54-7 it took to make Top 12 cut at Toledo Bend. The second heaviest three-day, Top 12 weight so far this season came at the St. Johns River – 49-12.
