Nobody would argue that attending college is a life-shaping event. But, for me, the two years I’ve been fortunate enough to compete in the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series National Championship have also shaped my life forever.

Last year the Bassmaster Carhartt College Series pitted brother against brother as Matt and Jordan Lee of Auburn University faced off in triple digit temperatures, vying to win a berth in the 2013 Bassmaster Classic.

Well, another semester is in the books here at Auburn, and now I’m looking forward to a little more free time the next two months. Which for me, means more time to go fishing.
