Poche’s Carhartt Big Bass held through Day Two

Feb 26, 2012

A 6-pound, 4-ounce bass weighed Saturday by Edwin Evers proved to be the day’s largest fish, but it was not big enough to knock out Keith Poche’s 6-pound, 13-ounce bass from Friday as the largest so far.

Crowds and shallow water

Feb 26, 2012

Dealing with a crowd can be challenging on shallow-water fisheries. Both Faircloth and Evers had boats watching them all morning. It's important that the anglers instruct and direct the spectators on where to go to stay out of the way.
